One of the questions most researched in the field of psychotherapy is the question of which aspect of the therapy is most important for a positive outcome for the client. Many experiments have pointed at the quality of the relationship between the client and the therapist as the most important aspect. The client needs to feel safe to express his or herself without fear of judgement or criticism.
I have worked with clients from all ages and backgrounds that have been struggling with a broad variety of life issues, and one of the things that my reputation is built on is the quality of the relationships I tend to have with clients. The largest referral sources from my professional practice are people who have been clients of mine in the past. I feel priviledged to be able to assist the individuals who come to me for help. Among the most common areas of life difficulty I work with are addiction issues, marital and family problems, legal difficulties of all types, as well as depression, anxiety and grieving. Life is often complex and difficult; one does not have to face it alone.
